2014 pedagogical team (to be completed)


Participants will be divided into 2 groups for the purpose of working on producers' projects. Each group will be led by experienced European producer, who will accompany the participants throughout the whole training course and provide advices on specific questions.

Bettina BROKEMPER : Producer (Germany).

Bettina Brokemper has produced or co-produced more than 20 films including "Hannah Arendt" by Margarethe Von Trotta - Silver German Film Award for Best Picture -, "Bal" by Semih Kaplanoglu - 60th Berlin film festival Golden Bear -, "Antichrist", "Melancholia" and "Nymphomaniac" by Lars von Triers (Co-producer), “Syrian Bride” (Co-producer). Her previous experiences include post–production management. With her Cologne–based company Heimatfilm, that she initiated with Helmut Hartl and Stefan Telegdy in 2003, Bettina produces and co-produces international projects, especially European films, and organizes service productions in Germany for international companies.

Ada SOLOMON : Producer (Romania).


Ada Solomon has worked in the film business for the last 20 years. She set up her own production company HiFilm Productions in 2004. Her films have received awards in the most prestigious festivals such as Locarno, Sundance and Berlin, where "Pozitia Copilului" (Child's Pose) by Călin Peter Netzer received the Golden Bear 2013.
Ada Solomon is also Head of Distribution at Parada Film and Executive Director of the NexT IFF Bucharest. She teaches at the National Film School in Bucharest and, together with Tudor Giurgiu, manages 3 mini-plex cinemas in Romania.
In 2013, Ada was awarded the European Co-production Prize Eurimages. She is National Coordinator of EAVE & member of EFA's Board.



Participants will also be tutored by post-production supervisors. They will analyse the participants’ projects from the point of view of the post-production and give specific advices to the participants.

Niko REMUS : Post-production supervisor (Germany).


Niko Remus was a film editor for feature and documentary films before becoming a post-production supervisor. He works as a freelancer, mostly on international co-productions.
Further he gives seminars on post-production at various institutions in Germany and is a trainer at the Torino Film Lab.
His recent projects include:
"A Pidgeon sat on a Branch reflecting on Existence" by Roy Andersson, "Hannah Arendt" by Margarethe von Trotta and "Only Lovers Left Alive" by Jim Jarmusch.

Hans van HELDEN
Hans van HELDEN : VFX supervisor & Post-production supervisor (Netherlands).

Hans van Helden has been working for more than 13 years as a freelance post-production and visual effects supervisor, mostly for international feature films. His projects include Paul Verhoeven's "Black Book", Felix van Groeningen's Academy Award-nominated "The Broken Circle Breakdown" and Martin Koolhoven's "Winter in Wartime". Hans is currently Managing Director and VFX Producer of the full service post-house Filmmore in Brussels, Amsterdam & Luxembourg.



Diana ELBAUM : Producer (Belgium).

Founder of Belgian production company Entre Chien et Loup, Diana Elbaum has since then produced and co-produced more than 30 feature films and documentaries. She teaches at the EAVE and acts as trainer for several other training organisations and schools. Diana's latest credits include "The congress" by Ari Folman (Quinzaine des Réalisateurs 2013 - opening film) co-producer; "A screaming man" by Mahamat Saleh Haroun (Cannes 2010 Prix du Jury) co-producer; “The 5th season” by Peter Brossens and Jessica Woodworth (2012 Venice Official Competition) co-producer.
In 2009, she was awarded the European Co-production Prize Eurimages, together with Luxembourgish Producer Jani Thiltges, and is also at the initiative of the EP2C Training Programme.

Sebastien DELLOYE
Sebastien DELLOYE : Producer (Belgium).

Managing director of Entre Chien et Loup and the Ateliers de Baere. Sébastien is also the director of EP2C and acts as an expert for EAVE, Torino Film Lab, Erich Pommer Institut, MEDIA, etc.
Sébastien has produced or co-produced over 20 feature films and 10 documentaries that were selected for the most prestigious festivals (Cannes, Venice, Berlinale, …). Sébastien latest credits include "Vijay and I" and Irina Palm" by Sam Garbarski; "The suicide shop" by Patrice Leconte (co-producer).

Sebastien is at the initiative of the EP2C Training Programme.



Julien MEESTERS : Creative director /VFX supervisor (France).


Julien works as a VFX / Animation Creative Director and Visual Effects Supervisor. He develops a comprehensive approach to VFX supervision on particularly ambitious projects involving 3D, 2D and Physical techniques. He is Head of visual effects and Animation studio at Mikros Image group. From micro to large-scale projects, his strong passion for cinema, animation, VFX and projects are still his main motivation.
His credits include: the Oscar & Caesar winning “Logorama, Love” by Michael Haneke (Golden Palm), “Rust and Bones” by Jacques Audiard.

Michel SCHOPPING : Sound post-production supervisor (Netherlands).

Michel Schöpping graduated in musicology. In the 80s he became a sound designer and composer of film music and designed, edited and mixed more than 50 documentaries, TV films as well as feature films. During the last 20 years he has also worked as sound post-production consultant. In 1993 he founded the Klink Sound Studio in Amsterdam. He teaches at the Dutch Film Academy and is a trainer at the Torino Film Lab. Michel's latest credits include "The 5th season" by Peter Brosens and Jessica Woodworth and "Alabama Monroe" by Felix van Groeningen.

Monika WILLI
Monika WILLI : Editor (Austria).

Born in 1968, Mona Willi mainly edited the past years with Michael Haneke (“Amour”, “The White Ribbon”, “La Pianiste” a.o.), Michael Glawogger (“Workingman’s Death”, “Whores’ Glory”, “Contact High” a.o.) and Barbara Albert (“Northern Skirts”, “Free Radicals”, “The Death and the Living” a.o.)
She was nominated for best editing at the César 2013 for “Amour”, at the German Film Award 2010 for “The White Ribbon”, at the Austrian Film Award 2013 for “Whores’ Glory”. She has won the Femina Film Award in 1998 for “Suzie Washington”, and the Austrian Film Award (2012) for “The Death and the Living”.

Michael HACKL
Michael HACKL : Post-production supervisor (Germany).

Responsible for any digital workflows at ARRI. Focused on workflows for digital cameras. 
Along with some colleagues I developed a complete s3D workflow pipeline from recording to DI. Furthermore I was involved setting up a mobile post-production trailer for s3D as well as 2D feature films.
At ARRI Film & TV we are servicing the latest workflow solutions for any digital motion picture camera.

Michi NORO
Michi NORO : Post-production supervisor (Belgium).


Michi Noro has been working as a post-production supervisor for 8 year. She first worked at the Belgium production company Entre Chien et Loup (Diana Elbaum, Sébastien Delloye) before becoming free lance in 2012.
Since 2009 she is in charge of the EP2C post-production workshop.

Neeltje VAN DER HEIJDEN : DI Producer (Netherlands).


With a background in journalism, online media and photography, Neeltje started working as a production manager after graduation. In 2006, she moved on to postproduction at Filmmore Amsterdam - where technique and beautiful images came together. She has been supervising post production for both national and international feature films over the last 8 years: in which analogue film post production almost disappeared and digital workflows rapidly developed. She is now running Filmmore's DI production- and DCP department.

Lizette NAGY
Lizette NAGY : Post-production Supervisor - Consultante (Belgium).

Lizette has been working for 14 years as a freelance post-production supervisor in Belgium.

Nathalie BORGERS
Nathalie BORGERS : Documentary Film Writer/ Director (Belgium).


Born in 1964 in Brussels, Belgium, Borgers is a documentary film director who works between Paris, Brussels, and Vienna. In 1986, she earned a B.A. in journalism at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, then an M.A of Arts in Radio, Film and Television at San Francisco State University. In 1989, she won the student « Documentary Writing » award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Northern California Chapter.  After graduating in 1990, she moved back to Europe and soon directed her first documentary Truth Under Siege, (1994), an award winning documentary about the resistance of journalists in Serbia, Croatia, and Bosnia during the war. Since then, Borgers has written and directed many award-winning documentaries both for television and theatrical release.

Pierre-Emmanuel MOUTHUY
Pierre-Emmanuel MOUTHUY : Lawyer (Belgium).

Founder of Mouthuy Avocats – a Brussels-based leading law firm in the entertainment industry – he has been involved in more than 50 cinematographic feature film productions or co-productions, out of which several have been presented to the most prestigious film festivals (Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Toronto), and more than 40 television productions or co-productions (TV-series, documentaries, etc.).

Laurence KAYE
Laurence KAYE : Music expert (United Kingdom).

Laurence Kaye is a trustee for the Deep Recording Trust music charity as well as consulting to a number of independent music, film production and media companies and regularly present seminars around the world.

Shaun FARRINGTON : Director of ZEALOT (United Kingdom).


Shaun Farrington is the founder of ZEALOT, a full service creative marketing company working with distributors, sales agents, producers, broadcasters and production companies to create award-winning motion picture and television marketing campaigns.
