Participants will be divided into 2 groups for the purpose of working on producers' projects. Each group will be led by experienced European producer, who will accompany the participants throughout the whole training course and provide advices on specific questions.

Bettina BROKEMPER : Producer (Germany).

Bettina Brokemper has produced or co-produced more than 20 films including "Hannah Arendt" by Margarethe Von Trotta - Silver German Film Award for Best Picture -, "Bal" by Semih Kaplanoglu - 60th Berlin film festival Golden Bear -, "Antichrist", "Melancholia" and "Nymphomaniac" by Lars von Triers (Co-producer), “Syrian Bride” (Co-producer). Her previous experiences include post–production management. With her Cologne–based company Heimatfilm, that she initiated with Helmut Hartl and Stefan Telegdy in 2003, Bettina produces and co-produces international projects, especially European films, and organizes service productions in Germany for international companies.

Diana ELBAUM : Producer (Belgium).

Founder of Belgian production company Entre Chien et Loup, Diana Elbaum has since then produced and co-produced more than 30 feature films and documentaries. She teaches at the EAVE and acts as trainer for several other training organisations and schools. Diana's latest credits include "The congress" by Ari Folman (Quinzaine des Réalisateurs 2013 - opening film) co-producer; "A screaming man" by Mahamat Saleh Haroun (Cannes 2010 Prix du Jury) co-producer; “The 5th season” by Peter Brossens and Jessica Woodworth (2012 Venice Official Competition) co-producer.
In 2009, she was awarded the European Co-production Prize Eurimages, together with Luxembourgish Producer Jani Thiltges, and is also at the initiative of the EP2C Training Programme.



Participants will also be tutored by post-production supervisors. They will analyse the participants’ projects from the point of view of the post-production and give specific advices to the participants.

Niko REMUS : Post-production supervisor (Germany).


Niko Remus was a film editor for feature and documentary films before becoming a post-production supervisor. He works as a freelancer, mostly on international co-productions.
Further he gives seminars on post-production at various institutions in Germany and is a trainer at the Torino Film Lab.
His recent projects include:
"A Pidgeon sat on a Branch reflecting on Existence" by Roy Andersson, "Hannah Arendt" by Margarethe von Trotta and "Only Lovers Left Alive" by Jim Jarmusch.

Hans van HELDEN
Hans van HELDEN : VFX supervisor & Post-production supervisor (Netherlands).

Hans van Helden has been working for more than 13 years as a freelance post-production and visual effects supervisor, mostly for international feature films. His projects include Paul Verhoeven's "Black Book", Felix van Groeningen's Academy Award-nominated "The Broken Circle Breakdown" and Martin Koolhoven's "Winter in Wartime". Hans is currently Managing Director and VFX Producer of the full service post-house Filmmore in Brussels, Amsterdam & Luxembourg.



Sebastien DELLOYE
Sebastien DELLOYE : Producer (Belgium).

Managing director of Entre Chien et Loup and the Ateliers de Baere. Sébastien is also the director of EP2C and acts as an expert for EAVE, Torino Film Lab, Erich Pommer Institut, MEDIA, etc.
Sébastien has produced or co-produced over 20 feature films and 10 documentaries that were selected for the most prestigious festivals (Cannes, Venice, Berlinale, …). Sébastien latest credits include "Vijay and I" and Irina Palm" by Sam Garbarski; "The suicide shop" by Patrice Leconte (co-producer).

Sebastien is at the initiative of the EP2C Training Programme.



Rainer HEESCH : Supervising Sound Editor/Sound Designer (Germany).

Rainer Heesch has been working in sound for more than 20 years. His career started with music production, theatre and live sound. After graduating in sound design from the Britisch National Film and Television School in 2005 he moved on to work on numerous German and International feature films. Rainer's Credits as sound designer include "Nightrain to Lisboa" by Bille August, "Bal" by Semih Kaplanoglu (60th Berlin film festival Golden Bear), and the Acadamy Award winning "The Counterfeiters" by Stephan Ruzowitzky. 


In 2013 he founded with a few other film enthusiasts the Berlin based "Sonnenstudio", a sound design and mixing facility with credits including "Victoria" by Sebastian Schipper, "Goodnight Mommy" by Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala, and the Acadamy Award winning "Citizenfour" by Laura Poitras.

Neeltje VAN DER HEIJDEN : Post-production supervisor (Netherlands).

With a background in journalism, online media and photography, Neeltje started working as a production manager after graduation.  In 2006, she moved on to post-production at Filmmore Amsterdam - where she found technique and beautiful images coming together.  She has been supervising post-production both for national and international feature films over the last 9 years: in wich analogue film post almost disappeared and digital workflows rapidly developed. Neeltje was leading Filmmore's DI Production- and DCP department.  In 2015, she decided to shift her focus and become an independent freelance post-production supervisor for feature films & theatrical documentaries.


Julien MEESTERS : Creative director /VFX supervisor (France).

Julien works as a VFX / Animation Creative Director and Visual Effects Supervisor. He develops a comprehensive approach to VFX supervision on particularly ambitious projects involving 3D, 2D and Physical techniques. He is Head of visual effects and Animation studio at Mikros Image group. From micro to large-scale projects, his strong passion for cinema, animation, VFX and projects are still his main motivation.
His credits include: the Oscar & Caesar winning “Logorama, Love” by Michael Haneke (Golden Palm), “Rust and Bones” by Jacques Audiard.



Pierre-Emmanuel MOUTHUY
Pierre-Emmanuel MOUTHUY : Lawyer (Belgium).

Founder of Mouthuy Avocats – a Brussels-based leading law firm in the entertainment industry – he has been involved in more than 50 cinematographic feature film productions or co-productions, out of which several have been presented to the most prestigious film festivals (Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Toronto), and more than 40 television productions or co-productions (TV-series, documentaries, etc.).

Laurence KAYE
Laurence KAYE : Music expert (United Kingdom).

Laurence Kaye is a trustee for the Deep Recording Trust music charity as well as consulting to a number of independent music, film production and media companies and regularly present seminars around the world.

Philippe LOGIE : Producer/Head of Programs Acquisitions (Belgium).
Daniela ELSTNER : Managing Director of Doc & Film (France).
Raoul NADALET : Managing Director of Espera Productions (Luxembourg).

Raoul Nadalet is Managing Director of Espera Productions in Luxembourg. They offer services for the entire post production chain, including Digital Lab Services, Cinema Colour Grading, Sound Post, Deliverables and Post-Production Management. With his production company, Antevita Films, he produces and coproduces documentaries, short and feature films mainly based on real facts: true stories written by life itself.

Dominique SCHMIT
Dominique SCHMIT : Content Director and Cinema Services at Dolby Europe Limited (France).

After a degree from national cinema School Louis Lumière, Dominique started his career in the music industry as a synthesizer programmer. Three years later he was hired as a sound engineer by a Parisian post production company where he spent eleven years mixing for TV and Cinema. He then became Dolby Authorized Sound consultant and for 10 years looked after studio alignment, print-mastering, cinema alignment, premiere screenings and festival support. In 2011 he was hired by Dolby at the Southern Europe Sales Manager position. To his demand, because he missed so much film making environment , he left 6 months ago the sales department to join the Dolby Content Services Group, where as the Directeur Contenu et Services he looks after content mainly in France.

Philippe KOHN
Philippe KOHN : Managing Director of Philophon Studios (Luxembourg).

Philippe Kohn is Managing Director atPhilophon Studios in Luxembourg. He also works as a Production Sound Mixer and has a large number of feature films and documentaries on his CV.
