PROGRAMME
EP2C is a week-long workshop dedicated to the understanding and management of the post-production process of feature films (fiction or documentary). Producers come with a feature film project (fiction or documentary) on which they will work with the experts for a week.. Projects should, at the time of the workshop, be in the stage before shooting.
The workshop focuses on the specific requirements of the post-production stage when working on an international film co-production. During 6 days, technical and artistic post-production challenges are addressed in lectures, group sessions and individual meetings.
We stand on the firm belief that a well-scheduled, well-budgeted, well-run post-production, apart from saving the producer a lot of work, time, and money, will most of all protect the film from unnecessary artistic compromise.
The workshop provides financial, technical, artistic information and management tips in the main areas of post-production supervision
- Image workflow and special effects
- Sound workflow
- Financing your the post-production of your films
- Monitoring schedule and resources
- Legal issues related to the post-production stage
- Promotion and deliveries
These main focuses are completed by visits to post-production facilities in the region hosting our workshop, meetings with local professionals, one-on-one meetings with decision makers as well as the setting up of a collaborative Internet platform.
